I drew these while I was on the phone. Clearly, I am not King Multitask.

Meet Totally-not-a-self-insert. He’s a professor of anthropology, whose focus of study is the way in which humans bond and thrive alongside Pokemon. He teaches at, uh, whatever university is in Viridian City, I guess. He’s about 27-ish, and he has a, uh… Issue with wanting to get friendly with people he shouldn’t be getting friendly with, like, students, etc….

He often sits around and dreams about going on adventures all Indiana Jones-like (He doesn’t even really get out to do much field study or anything like that.). He’s really kind of too quiet for that, though (And plus, he’s fresh out of grad school, really, so he hasn’t had a lot of opportunities anyway.)

And yes, he was one of Oak’s students and the two of them are still pretty close…
So, uh, naturally…. Guess who he hangs around with?

He has poor eyesight, bad taste in clothes and a tattoo of a heart (so badass). He’s chubby and eats when he’s upset. Urk, he’s incredibly affectionate, though. And he’s really calm and collected, mostly.

He might need some OC friends/family to balance out his gary-stu-ity, since he just hangs around with canon folk so far.

Also, that’s a pith helmet. It so doesn’t look like one. He’s adventuring in… tall grass, I guess (More likely, the potted plant in his office).

The G astrodons help him get ready for work… not very swiftly, but they try very, very hard.

Yeah, sorry. That’s probably more man-hair and hulking-mass-of-a-gut than you wanted to see today. : |
